At a meeting of the Zionist Central Committee in Lodz, it was decided to send a telegram of condolence to the family of the late Lord Arthur Balfour and to direct M. Rosenblatt to represent Lodz Zionists at the funeral of Lord Balfour to be held in Scotland at the end of the week.
On Saturday there will be memorial services for Lord Balfour in the “Ohel Jacob” synagogue in Lodz. A Zionist delegation there will also present a resolution of mourning to the British Consul.
