Dr. Julian Morgenstern, president of the Hebrew Union College, will be editor of the Bible department and Prof. Jacob Lauterbach will edit the Rabbinics department of the new Jewish Encyclopedia, it was explained here yesterday by Rabbi Isaac Landman, editor of the new encyclopedia, at a luncheon tendered to him by Maurice Freiberg, an executive of the Union of American Hebrew Congregations and one of the governors of the Hebrew Union College.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
