The Yeshiva (Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary and Yeshiva College), it is announced by Rabbi M. S. Margolies, president of the board of directors, will soon inaugurate a nation-wide effort to secure a three-million dollar endowment fund.

A special committee on the endowment problem is at work upon the details of the campaign, and is confident that the friends of Torah and intensive Jewish learning in America, regardless of affiliations, will cooperate in the effort of the Yeshiva and Yeshiva College to establish a three million dollar endowment. The contribution of $50,000 by Mr. and Mrs. M. Gottesman, of $50,000 by Mr. and Mrs. Leon Tuchmann, all of New York, of $10,000 by the late Isaac Liberman of New York. $10,000 by the late Julius Levy of Baltimore, and a number of smaller gifts, form the nucleus for this campaign.

The endowment campaign will be in charge of H. L. Selig, director of the Yeshiva Campaign Committee.
