Seventeen Chicago Jews were nominated for various offices by both major parties in yesterday’s primaries. Of this number, eleven are Democrats and six are Republicans. Those who won party designations for the election in November under the Democratic banner are Judge Henry Horner for the Probate Court, Henry Sonneschein, Samuel S. Epstein and Henry Minsky for the state assembly, Adolph Sabath and Elmer P. Schaeffer for Congress, Richard Froelich, Adolph Sabath, Moe Rosenberg and Joseph A. Mendel, ward committeemen.
Those nominated on the Republican ticket were Philip P. Sachs and William Zipperman for the state senate, Solomon Goldberg for county commissioner, J. L. Freidman for trustee of the sanitary district, Morris Eller, Harry Steinmayer and William Fegenbutz for ward committeemen.
