County Judge Albert Cohn was elected chairman of the Bronx committee of the New York Allied Jewish Campaign at a dinner meeting held at the Concourse Plaza Hotel, which was attended by nearly 50 leaders of Jewish communal affairs of the borough.

Judge Otto A. Rosalsky, who was one of the speakers, pointed out that aside from the fact that the $6,000,000 which the Allied Jewish Campaign is raising to relieve the plight of the Jews of Eastern Europe and to aid the Jews of Palestine to develop the homeland, the campaign was of the utmost importance to Jews of this country because it symbolized Jewish unity.
