In order to determine the exact relationship of Yiddish to German, the State Academy for Scientific Research in Germanism is planning to establish a research department in the Yiddish language and folklore. The Academy has invited Jewish scientific circles to submit for the investigation any material they have.
It also asks whether Jewish circles will be interested in financing the Yiddish section. The German Language Society has in principle decided to participate in the investigation.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
