Preparing for the arrival of Sir John Simpson, who is coming here to investigate immigration and land settlement problems for the British government, the Zionist Executive has appointed a commission dealing with lands, agriculture and urban colonization, headed by Dr. Arthur Ruppin, which, together with a commission elected by the Vaad Leumi for similar and other purposes, will cooperate with Sir John.

Dr. Ruppin is a well-known agricultural expert in Palestine. During the riots he was a member of the acting Zionist Executive in Palestine.
