At the annual meeting of the Municipal Recreation Commission of the City of Troy held today, Joseph Hormats was re-elected chairman for the third time. Mr. Hormats has been very active in civic affairs and is the only Jewish member on the Commission. He is on honorary member of the national body of the Jewish War Veterans of the United States and was formerly president of the New York State Federation of Young Men’s Hebrew and Kindred Associations.
