Renewed danger of a locust plague in Palestine is seen with the appearance of fresh swarms. Emergency measures are being taken to prevent the spread of the pests. A police motor truck equipped with wireless has been pressed into service to report on the progress of the hoppers thus enabling the locust-fighters and their weapons to be moved to strategic points to deal with the oncoming invasion.
