Jewish Immigration to Canada Not Affected by Policy Change

Jewish immigration to Canada will not be affected by any changes in the policy of the Dominion government, according to Messrs. S. W. Jacobs and A. A. Heaps, members of the Federal House of Commons and Honorary Presidents of the Jewish Immigrant Aid Society of Canada, who addressed the annual meeting of the Jewish Immigrant Aid Society of Canada last week here. Over 300 members and out-of-town delegates were present.

The following officers were elected by the Society for the ensuing year : President, Mr. Benj. Robinson; 1st Vice-President, Mr. L. B. Daniels, 2nd Vice-President, Mr. H. Barsky; Treasurer, Mr. J. Albert; Hon. Secretary, Mr. H. M. Caiserman. On motion of Alderman J. Shubert of this city, a vote of thanks was given to Mr. Lyon Cohen, Honorary President of the Society, for the constant assistance that he has given the Organization.
