Following the conference between the committee of the Zionist Organization and the Brandeis group in which the latter issued a statement defining the terms on which they would assume an active interest in the Zionist movement two members of the Zionist committee issued the following statement :

“Our committee, which is merely acting on behalf of the Administrative Committee of the Zionist Organization of America, met the committee representing the Brandeis group and received from them the statement which they submitted. Whatever reply is to be made must come from the Administrative Committee which may in turn submit it to the forthcoming convention in Cleveland.”
