The Colonial Office, today, at Premier MacDonald’s order, asked Sir John Simpson to investigate immediately the possibilities of releasing a number of labor schedule certificates which had been suspended pending the result of his investigation of colonization and immigration in Palestine.

Sir John was ordered to submit his report within the next few days, with reference to the suspended certificates. In view of this favorable turn the English Zionist Federation has decided to postpone the demonstrations against the suspension of immigration, which were planned for Thursday, it is reported.

The World Zionist Executive, which was informed of the Colonial Office’s action by Major Nathan and Lord Melchett, has as yet received no official notification.
