Gets Prison Term for Spreading Blood Ritual Tale

For spreading a ritual murder tale against Jews last Passover, Sofia Katchan was today sentenced by a court at Paltvoa to three years imprisonment. The wife of a Communist, she went from house to house during Passover saying that her Jewish neighbor, Shloime Gribov, had attempted to kill her seven-year-old son to use the blood for matzoth. She was immediately arrested and her trial opened today. The courtroom was crowded when the verdict was announced.
