Lawrence B. Cohen, Jr., a Harvard freshman, who was arrested recently for distributing handbills and other socialist propaganda at the Boston Garden, resigned from the college last Tuesday, of his own accord, it was announced yesterday.

Cohen, who is a New Yorker, was well known on the campus for his socialist activities, though upon inquiries it was learned that the University authorities made no effort to force his resignation. On the contrary, Cohen informed them that he was leaving college to devote himself and his time to promote Socialism.
