Rabbi Bengis Resigns As Leader of Omaha Congregation

Rabbi Abraham Bengis, the spiritual leader of the Conservative congregation here which is the largest congregation in Omaha, has resigned from his post. His resignation was accepted with regret by the board of trustees of the congregation.

Rabbi Bengis pioneered the Conservative movement in Omaha, which under his leadership was very successful here. Sam Beber is the president of the congregation.
