The expulsion of Major Waldemar Pabst, chief of staff of the Austrian Heimwehr from Austria as an undesirable alien, is expected to result in the weakening of anti-Semitism in the ranks of Heimwehr because Major Pabst, like his predecessor, had favored a close contact with Adolph Hitler and his anti-Semitic National Socialist party in Germany.
In this connection it is being recalled that Major Pabst was raised in a Jewish house in Berlin.
