Lord Melchett Seventh in English “best Brains” Contest

Lord Melchett, president of the English Zionist Federation and chairman of the political committee of the Jewish Agency was voted seventh in the “best brains” contest in England in which the readers of the London “Spectator” were participating. George Bernard Shaw was voted as having the best brains but neither Premier MacDonald nor any woman received a vote. Lord Reading was voted eleventh place.
