An indication that the hereditary tribal laws that have governed relations between the various Bedouin tribes for centuries will be abolished is seen in an agreement reached today by a number of prominent Bedouin chieftains at Beersheba. After a number of days of pourparlers they have agreed that henceforth disputes arising from intertribal raids, blood-feuds, real or fancied insults, property rights and other matters of interest to the nomadic tribal will be adjusted in the ordinary law courts instead of as in the past by means of sanguinary tribal wars.
