The Seventh International Convention of the Aleph Zadik Aleph of the B’nai B’rith is to open here on Friday, July 13, for a three-day session. Four hundred delegates and visitors from its 130 chapters located throughout this country and Canada are expected at the convention.

The A.Z.A. is the junior department of the B’nai B’rith and has attracted thousand of Jewish youths between the ages of 16 and 21. Recently the A.Z.A. became one of the constituent organizations composing the Jewish Committee on Boy Scouting, headed by Cyrus Adler. It is expected that following this convention, definite arrangements will be perfected for the formation and sponsorship of Jewish Boy Scout troops in every city in which an A.Z.A. chapter is located.
