Preparations for the creation of a good-will committee between Jews and Poles in Poland similar to the one recently formed in New York in order to improve relations between Jews and Poles are under way, according to an announcement made here today by Dr. M. T. Marchlewski, Polish consul-general in New York, now on a visit here.
In a press conference here he reported on the progress of the American Polish-Jewish good-will committee. Later he conferred with officials of the Polish government and gave them details as to the relations between Poles and Jews in America.
The committee formed in America last May was to assist in the working out of problems of mutual concern to Jews of Polish extraction and Poles in the motherland.
