The discovery of iron mines in the Mozir and Bobrosik regions that will net the Soviet government 5,000,000 tons of the metal, has been officially announced. The announcement points out that the mines will enrich the Soviet iron industry by 100,000 tons of iron annually, thus providing work for many years to come for the local population which is chiefly Jewish.

The working of these mines will enable the Jews in these regions to become miners, who are considered the highest type of labor in Soviet Russia.
