Wall Commission’s Chairman, Warning on Politics, Says That Threats Will Influence It

“Threats will not influence us in our inquiry into the respective rights of the Jews and Moslems at the Wailing Wall and we must rule out all political questions,” declared Eliol Loefgren, chairman of the Wailing Wall Commission, yesterday afternoon in the course of his remarks interrupting a recital by Jamal Husseini, secretary of the Moslem Supreme Council, of the Arab Executive’s efforts to get the neighboring Moslem countries to protest regarding the Wailing Wall.
