The report in last night’s Bucharest papers that Dr. Alexander Vayda Voevod, minister of the interior, would resign because of the arrest of his chief aide, M. Tazladanu, admitted anti-Semitic leader, is incorrect, the correspondent of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency learns.

On the other hand, the organ of the Liberal party, the opposition to the Maniu government, is demanding that Dr. Vayda Voevod be tried for supporting such anti-Semitic leaders as Tadlazanu. The paper charges that by keeping Tazladanu in the government offices as the official representative of the anti-Semites, Dr. Vayda Voevod was collaborating with the anti-Semitic agitators.
