Two Jews were nominated for judgeships here and one for district attorney in the primaries, the complete returns of which are now available show. City court judge Harry P. Rosecan was returned the victor in his campaign for the Republican nomination for prosecuting attorney. He carried 27 of the 28 wards in the city. Judge Rosecan is the first Jew in St. Louis to be nominated for this office.
Judge Moses Hartman of the circuit court was renominated by the Republicans to succeeded himself. He will be opposed in the November elections by another Jew, Samuel Rosenfeld, who won the Democratic nomination.
