Says Blood and Gold Only Way to Arab Independence

Blood and gold alone will secure independence for the Arabs, writes the Haifa correspondent of the Arab daily paper, “Falastin,” in expressing his opposition to the general strike called by the Arab Executive for August 23 to mark the first anniversary of the outbreak of last year’s riots. He points out that in the past strikes have availed the Arabs nothing.
