Appreciation of the remarkable work accomplished by American Jews in behalf of Palestine and of the important role played by the Jewish workers in building up Palestine was expressed by Acting High Commissioner Mark Aitchison Young, who received the American Jewish labor delegation today.

Abraham Shiplacoff, chairman of the delegation, expressed the anxiety of American friends of Palestine at the recent events, particularly the suspension of immigration. Isaac Hamlin stressed the need of the Jewish masses for a large and ree immigration to Palestine. Morris Finestone, the third member of the delegation, declared that American Jewish workers are united in urging Britain to fulfill its obligation toward the Jewish people.

Acting High Commissioner Young told the delegation that colonization must be based on the principal of profitable investment and expressed the hope that the American Jews would support this view. He promised the delegation that he would do all in his power to aid its members in making a thorough study of the country.
