Many Jewish visitors at the Styrian health resort, Poellau, have left because of anti-Semitic disturbances. Anti – Semitic songs echoed through the town, Jewish visitors were molested, and some Jewish houses threatened by the rowdies. Even near the police station the shouts against the Jews were heard. Fearing serious trouble the Jewish visitors have cut short their holidays and left.
