The four months’ old strike in the textile factory of Edelstein & Friedman was settled today with the manufacturers agreeing to employ workers only through the office of the General Federation of Jewish Labor. The manufacturers also undertook to pay the back wages of the strikers to the Kupath Cholim, the Jewish Workers’ Sick Fund. The strike as a result of the employment of strikebreakers had been marked by assault cases that were taken into court.
