Goldberg to Succeed Lurie at Chicago Jewish Social Bureau

W. Abraham Goldberg for the past seven and a half years supervisor of investigations in the domestic relations division of the recorder’s court probation department, has been granted leave of absence, effective September 1, to direct a study of iinstitutional inmates in Illinois for the Jewish Social Service Bureau of Chicago. Mr. Goldberg will fill the position of Harry Lurie who resigned to become director of the Bureau of Jewish Social Research in New York.

Prior to his probation work, Mr. Goldberg was in the Psychopathic Clinic of the late Dr. Arnold L. Jacoby. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan.
