Three Jews, two now holding office, won nominations in the state-wide primaries that were held this week. Congresswoman Florence Kahn, widow of the late Congressman Julius Kahn, was renominated to succeed herself, and Edgar C. Levey, speaker of the state legislature for the last two years, was renominated as the Republican candidate for the state assembly. Jacob Ehrlich of San Francisco was named the Democratic candidate for attorney-general.
