Rabbi Israel Heads Baltimore Employment Stabilization Board

The Rev. Dr. Edward L. Israel, rabbi of the Har Sinai Temple, has been selected for the permanent chairmanship of the Municipal Commission on Stabilization of Employment. As permanent secretary the commission chose Simon E. Sobeloff, Deputy City Solicitor.

Eight immediate measures to relieve unemployment were recommended in the first report of the commission. The report was drafted by Rabbi Israel, as temporary chairman.
