In connection with the present celebration of Uruguay’s centenary of independence, the Jews of Montevideo will present a statue of Professor Albert Einstein to the city. A popular subscription is now being taken up among the Jews of Uruguay for this purpose. An Uruguayan sculptor will make the statue, which will be erected in the center of the city.
