Contrary to an earlier report to the effect that Abraham Goldberg of the domestic relations division of the recorders’ court probation division in Detroit was going to Chicago to succeed Harry Lurie as head of the Jewish Social Service Bureau of Chicago, the Jewish Daily Bulletin learns that Mr. Goldberg is only joining the Bureau as a member of the staff of the legal aid department in the position of a case worker. A successor to Mr. Lurie, who has resigned to become director of the Bureau of Jewish Social Research in New York, has not yet been appointed.
