That American Zionists will be asked to raise at least $1,000,000 as America’s contribution towards the Jewish National Fund was disclosed in a circular letter addressed by the American branch of the Fund to its committees and groups of workers in 750 communities throughout the country. The Palestine Land Fund will require for new land purchases with in the next year $3,000,000, and the America quota of this sum was set at $1,000,000, the circular indicated.

This statement of the Jewish National Fund of America, came close upon the heels of the announcement of last week concerning the contemplated visit to this country of M. M. Ussishkin, president of the board of directors of the Jewish National Fund in Jerusalem, and internationally known Zionist leader.
