The permanent minorities commission in the League of Nations will not be established, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency learns. The German delegation to the League’s sessions has decided not to recommend to the sixth or political commission of the Assembly that a permanent and independent minorities commission be added to the existing League commissions. Instead of an independent commission the Germans, at the last minute, have decided to suggest that complaints of minorities be discussed as hitherto with the usual procedure.
