Giulo Fano, Noted Italian Physiologist, Dead at 59

Giulo Fano, famous Italian physiologist, member of the Royal Academy and for nineteen years a member of the Senate, died today at the age of 59 at his villa near Mantua in North Italy. Fano remained a professing Jew all his life and was a member of the Mantua Jewish community.
