Mr. Schwartz has leased for the season the Second Avenue Theatre, which he will open two weeks hence with a production of Sholom Asch’s “The Witch of Castile”.

Other plays which Mr. Schwartz intends to present in New York during this season will be “Uncle Moses” by Asch; “The Rabbi and the Gypsies” by Sackler; “Our Children” by Francesco Sanchez, a Spanish dramatist; “The Deaf Man” by Bergelson; and “The Misanthrope” by Moliere. Stella Adler, Judith Abarbanel, Joseph Bulow, Wolf Goldfaden and Jacob Mestel are among those who will appear in Mr. Schwartz’s troupe.
