The annual meeting of the American Jewish Committee on November 9 will take up the question of adopting measures to alleviate the economic and political conditions under which the Jews of Southeastern and Central Europe are now living. This announcement followed the presentation of a report to the executive committee of the American Jewish Committee by Morris D. Waldman, secretary of the Committee, who recently returned from an extended trip to Europe.

The executive committee also announced that Fred M. Butzel of Detroit, Henry Ittelson of New York, James Davis of Chicago and Louis H. Kirstein of Boston had accepted election as members of the executive committee.
