Virginia Frank Heads Jewish Social Service Bureau of Chicago

Miss Virginia Frank, for six years assistant superintendent of the Jewish Social Service of the Jewish Charities of Chicago, has been named superintendent to succeed Harry Lurie. Mr. Lurie in turn succeeds Mr. Goldsmith, the new general director of the Jewish Charities here, in New York. Miss Frank has been connected with the Jewish Social Service Bureau for 15 years. She received all of her schooling in Chicago and started her career as a visitor in the office she now heads.
