A decision to launch a national campaign for $60,000 for the women’s cooperative in Palestine was made at the closing session of the convention of the Pioneer Women’s Organization (Chalutzos). The convention adopted a resolution urging the organization’s members to vote for Socialist candidates.

It was also decided to send Miss Leah Biskin, national secretary, on a tour of Palestine to study conditions in the women’s cooperative. The following were elected members of the national executive: Mesdames B. Zuckerman, S. Siegel, I. Applebaum, P. Horowitz, M. Leibowitz, M. Ribalow and B. Haggai and the Misses B. Staloff, M. Koler, Leah Biskin and I. Halper.

Other resolutions adopted by the convention urged support of the movement to train pioneers in this country for settlement in Palestine, aid for the Jewish National Fund and extension of cultural activities among the various chapters.
