French Cabinet to Act on British Palestine Statement

The French cabinet is expected to take an attitude toward the White Paper issued by the British Labor Government, it was learned today by the Jewish Telegraphic Agency here.

The question of the British White Paper limiting the rights of the Jews in Palestine will be taken up by the French cabinet tomorrow. Aristide Briand, Minister of Foreign Affairs, will submit a report to the Cabinet on the Palestine question in connection with the new British policy.

A statement with regard to the negative attitude taken by the British Government regarding the Jewish interests in Palestine will be issued here Wednesday by Baron Edmund Rothschild, who was the first to encourage Jewish colonization in Palestine.
