Admits Britain Consulted No Parties Before Issuing Plan

William Lunn, Colonial under-secretary, definitely admitted in Parliament today that the government had taken no consultation with the various political parties before issuing the White Paper on Palestine. When asked by Captain Cazalet whether the Palestine statement was made by the cabinet or the Colonial Office, however, Mr. Lunn was evasive, saying, “As I am not a member of the cabinet I cannot say whether the cabinet discussed the matter.”
