The official Prussian news agency today issued a statement declaring that Dr. Isidor Weiss, vice-commissioner of police of Berlin, had not committed illegal acts and that he would remain in office. The National Socialists have been loudly demanding Dr. Weiss’s removal because he is a Jew. They have also accused him of having been a party to illegal business transactions.
