United States Senator Arthur H. Vandenberg of Michigan, member of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, in a statement to be published in the Detroit Jewish Chronicle of Friday, Nov. 14, declares that he favors a complete and official inquiry into the present conditions affecting the pledge to the Jewish people for the establishment of the Jewish National Home in Palestine.

Senator Vanderberg reiterates his interest in and friendship for the Zionist cause and declares that “the ideal is too powerful and too sound to be shattered by transient difficulties.”
