A dinner to the debating team representing Scottish universities will be given at Columbia University, on Sunday evening, November 30th by Avukah. Tribute will be paid to Lord Balfour, late Chancellor of the University of Edinburgh and author of the famous Balfour Declaration.
Addresses on behalf of Jewish students will be made by James Waterman Wise, honorary secretary of Avukah, Dr. Mitchell Salem Fisher, chairman of the administrative committee, and George M. Hyman, formerly assistant registrar of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and now executive secretary of Avukah.
