Bottles of ink, eggs and foul-smelling bombs, and cushioned seats were thrown at the screen in a Montmartre moving picture house today by spectators who objected to a talking film called “L’age d’or” because the film was pro-Jewish. Damages estimated at $5,000 were incurred.
