Jewish Arbitration Court Changes Name with Charter

The Jewish Conciliation Court of America, formerly known as the Jewish Court of Arbitration, which has been in existence for eleven years, received its certificate of incorporation last week from Supreme Court Justice Wasservogel. Many Jewish individual and communal matters have been handled and settled by this court without resort to the regular courts. The officers of the Jewish Conciliation Court of America are: Dr. Israel Goldstein, president; Mrs. Rebekah Kohut, Justice Jacob Panken and the Rev. Dr. Moses Hyamson, vice-presidents; Mrs. Mary Blum, treasurer; Louis Richman, executive secretary; and Bernard S. Deutsch, chairman of the board of directors.
