The French government today issued an order forbidding the Yiddish State Theatre of White Russia to give performances in Paris. It is believed that the continuous refusal of different European countries to permit the White Russian Yiddish theatre to perform may result in the theatre’s abandoning its projected trip to Argentine, as the group’s budget depends largely upon the income from performances given en route.
