Mr. G. Z. Medalie, a Jewish lawyer, has been nominated as United States Federal Attorney for New York State in succession to Federal Attorny Tuttle. The nomination will probably come before the Senate on Thursday and no opposition is expected. Mr. Medalie, who was born in New York, is 47 years of age and is active in Jewish social work and is a member of the American Jewish Congress.
