Israel Isakowitz and Kreina Perszuk, two of the Jewish workers from Yadjur who were wouded in the shooting outrage, have recovered and have been discharged from hospital. The other two wounded, both women, Beila Hellman and Breina Halperin, are also rapidly recovering.

£ 200 is too small a sum to be offered as a reward to bring about the arrest of the murderers, the Hebrew daily “Haaretz” complains, and the police are too slow in moving against the murderers. Haluzim, it says, are not the same as an English Bishop, and bullets piercing the hearts of Jews building up the homeland are not the same as builets fired at an English quarry manager.

We are convinced that the Palestine Arab leaders are innocent of the crime, the Arab paper “Al Ahrar” of Beirut, a strongly anti-Zionist publication, writes. The Palestine Arab leaders are too wise, it says, to ###oment disorders, which are incapable of solving the Palestine problem. A solution of the problem is quite possible, it says, without bloodshed.
